Week 8
Sunday Recap
Brandon Put 258.12 Inside Carlos, Who Has 0 Percent and Nobody Left
In August 1860 Robert O'Hara Burke marched out of Melbourne to cross Australia with twenty tons of baggage, an oak table among it, and no experience of the bush whatever. In April 1861 he dragged himself back to the depot at Cooper Creek and found it abandoned that same morning, with the word dig carved in a tree. He dug, took the food, and set off for a police post at a place called Mount Hopeless, which he never reached. Carlos fucked it up faster.
Carlos came in at 41.4 percent and leaves at 0 with 145.84 points and nobody left for Monday night, an empty depot with his own name carved in the tree. Parker Washington, projected for 14.9, gave Carlos 3.6, and Burke at least dumped his dead weight on the road. Joe Burrow posted 52.48 for Brandon while Drake Maye posted 26.46 for Carlos. Burke could blame a desert and a relief party that quit the morning he came back; Carlos had a lineup he set himself and a team named after the wrong quarterback.
